CERTFICATE OF BIBLICAL STUDIES

30 required credits (Must carry a 1.8 GPA to graduate receive a Certificate of Biblical Studies, classes that one fails do not count toward graduation.)

DEV 101 (2): Developmental English (Does not count toward certificate. Required if ACCUPLACER sentence structure score is below 70 )
APL 111 (3) Discipleship and Spiritual Disciplines
APL 121 (3) Evangelism and Mission
BTS 101 (3) Old Testament Survey
BTS 102 (3) New Testament Survey
BTS 111 (3) Foundations of Faith
BTS 121 (3) Methods of Biblical Interpretation
GEN 101 (3) College Survival Skills (Required first Semester able to take)
GEN 111 (3) English and Composition (must meet minimum score on ACCUPLACER or have a “C” grade in DEV 101)
GEN 161 (3) Introduction to Psychology and Counseling
GEN 162 (3) Interpersonal Communication and Relationships

These classes along with the classes for Certificate of Biblical Studies must be completed. Students must take one of the classes in each block in order to graduate with this certificate. Students must carry a GPA of 1.8 to graduate with the Certificate of Biblical Studies and General Studies.
