Adjunct Faculty
this is a part-time, temporary position utilized to provide instruction in specific educational content to students. Must have a Master’s degree in their field. Will teach, evaluate and grade class work. Maintain and report grades and embedded assignments. Prepare course materials including syllabi, assignments, and handouts. Must be able to select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation.
Cook
this is a part-time, permanent position involved in the daily operations of a commercial kitchen. Prior experience in a food service position is preferred since knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for the effective manufacture and serving of food is necessary. Must have or be willing to acquire ServSafe certification.
Vocal Music Adjunct Faculty
Will serve as choir instructor for the 2010-2011 school year. Candidates must be prepared to teach a music course that includes vocal production skills, directed singing and the basics of reading music. The instructor will be responsible for teaching a one-hour per week choir class in preparation for one public choir performance each semester. The instructor may schedule additional public performances at their discretion. Candidates must have experience leading a singing group and have a basic understanding of music and choral performance. Candidates must accept the Evangelical Covenant Church’s Affirmation of Faith.
